What happens after a death in China

Call 120 for ambulance or 110 for police. A physician must certify the death at a recognised medical facility. The si wang zheng ming shu is registered with the local civil affairs bureau (minzhengju). Police and the judiciary take jurisdiction for violent or unexplained deaths. All documentation is in Mandarin Chinese and requires certified translation.

The Civil Status and Passports Affairs Authority (CSPA) under the Ministry of Interior registers deaths in Bahrain.
